MYTH has been my primary focus, as scholar and individual, for over twenty years. I find the subject to be a life spring. I have made many efforts (often with success) to visit communities in which 'sacred tales' are still alive, and there are many in North America.

FAMILY

I live in the country on a Christmas tree farm with my wife and two cats. My kids are scattered about the country, from DC to Colorado. My folks still live in New Jersey as do several of my brothers and sisters.

My friends are about to start WEB pages but have not yet reached that point.

The template calls for my 'hobbies' at this point. I have rarely had hobbies in the course of my life. I read, I travel, I think, I write, I teach, I study. We have (and cherish) a small collection of African masks, Native American masks, Inuit sculpture, Hopi kachinas, most of which we have collected on site.
